12 Jul 2016 17:19 #1 by EPRD
Swim, bike, run and lots of fun in this noncompetitive triathlon for kids age 5-13. It's a great way for kids to be active and have fun, while helping the Special Needs Program! (A portion of all proceeds will be donated.)

Distances and times vary by age group:

9:00 AM - Ages 5 - 6 (25 Yards Swim / 400 Meter Run / .5 Mile Bike)
9:15 AM - Ages 7 - 8 (50 Yards Swim / .5 Mile Run / 1 Mile Bike)
9:30 AM - Ages 9 - 10 (100 Yards Swim / 1 Mile Run / 2 Mile Bike)
9:45 AM - Ages 11 - 13 (100 Yards Swim / 1 Mile Run / 2 Mile Bike)

Participants are encouraged to arrive at least half an hour before their start time. The kids will swim in Buchanan Pool, run on the Pioneer Trail toward Elk Meadow or on the dirt road near Buchanan Trail, and ride their bikes out and back on the Buchanan Trail.
