Football Game Preview: Conifer vs. Fort Morgan
Fort Morgan is set to face off against Conifer in a playoff match this Friday at 7:00 PM. Fort Morgan has blown out its past three opponents, so Conifer has its work cut out for it.
Fort Morgan had all the answers against Longmont last week, winning 21 - 0. Senior running back Tate Kembel deserves a lot of the credit as he ran for 115 yards and also punched in one touchdown.
As for Conifer, it strolled past Skyview last week with points to spare, taking it 42 - 26. Conifer was already ahead 42 - 0 by the end of the half, putting Skyview too far behind.
Their wins bumped Fort Morgan and Conifer up to an identical 9-1. While both teams are coming off of wins, only one will triumph this week. We'll find out soon enough who that will be.
