2nd Stand Up Paddleboard Race on Evergreen Lake July 14
Race has age categories 13 to 60+

EVERGREEN, CO (June 4, 2018) --
Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) presents the 2nd annual Stand Up Paddleboard Race on Evergreen Lake on Saturday, July 14, 2018, from 7-9 AM.

AGE DIVISIONS
Competitors will compete in four coed age divisions:

Adult 18-39
Adult 40-59
Senior 60 and up
Youth 13-17

RACE COURSE
Competitors will take loops around the 40-acre lake, with youth traveling 250 yards, adults 1,000 yards and seniors 750 yards. All competitors must be standing; no kneeling. All competitors must wear personal flotation devices.

FEE
Adults and Seniors - $40
Youth - $25

PRIZES
There will be a trophy for the 1st - 3rd place winners in each division.

BOARDS
Paddleboards will be supplied by EPRD. Private boards will not be allowed.

2nd Stand Up Paddleboard Race on Evergreen Lake Cancelled

EVERGREEN, CO (June 28, 2018) --
Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) has decided to cancel the 2nd annual Stand Up Paddleboard Races on Evergreen Lake. The races were scheduled for Saturday, July 14, 2018.

The decision was made to cancel the races because of light advance registration, said Ellen O'Connor, Executive Director.

Anyone who has already registered will receive a refund.
