Platte Canyon XC team hits the ground running was created by CanyonCourier
BAILEY — Platte Canyon’s cross country team is ready to continue its success in 2019.
At its home meet on Thursday on Rosalie Road, the boys team finished fifth out of eight, and all the girls placed in the top 31 runners of 64. With only four girls on the roster, they can’t score as a team.
Junior Emma Dikken led the ladies with an eighth-place finish and a time of 25 minutes, 30 seconds.
Senior Chris Long paced the boys at 21:42 and a 14th-place mark.
