As time expired in the University of Colorado football’s home game against Stanford on Nov. 9, the Buffaloes had one last chance to secure victory in regulation. That’s when Evan Price stepped up to kick the pigskin.
His older brother and senior teammate, Davis, showed unwavering confidence as he rooted him on from the sidelines. Both Price brothers played for Evergreen High School.
As the ball soared through the uprights on the 37-yard attempt, redshirt freshman Evan had secured his third, pivotal field goal in a much-needed 16-13 win for the Buffs. Davis may have been going crazy on the sidelines but to Evan, it was just another day on the job.
