Went to see them skate on Saturday night. Have never seen live roller derby before before and found it quite enjoyable. I would recommend it to anyone who is sick of watching million dollar athlete/divas working for billion dollar owners. The "girls" all are volunteers and so is everyone else involved. Some of them were very good at what they do and the fans were very devoted.
And one big plus, both Denver teams won! Unlike the Broncos & Rockies Saturday night.

It is a little different now, they use a flat track to decrease setup costs and only women skate now. So occasionally the girls are flung into the crowds.
