You can't tell who is playing until you have their nationality and jab status.
Medvedev, a Russian and defending champ at the U.S. Open will be allowed to play. But he was banned at Wimbledon because he is a Russian. Djokovic played and won Wimbledon but is not allowed to play in the U.S.Open because he is not vaccinated.
God forbid that we find that Cale Makar is an unvaccinated Russian.
Seems silly to close off the US Open to one of the best players in the game. And also to penalize individual players for the nation they were born in. I know I have no control over the foreign policy of the US.
