Best known by everyone as the coach, John Wooden was actually far more. The view point written by Alex Wolf is compelling. It's not just a rehash of basketball, though there is plenty of that too, but a poignant story of a wonderful human being. Though 4 or 5 pages in length, I found myself going from one to the next eager to learn more about this man. His greatness reached beyond basketball. Here you will find life lessons applicable for all of us. The article evokes empathy and admiration. I hope you find it as rewarding a read as I did.
