Broncos & the Super Bowl

01 Feb 2011 08:36 #1 by FredHayek
Pat Bowlen has been asking the NFL to let the Broncos host a Super Bowl at Invesco.
-9F right now is making it look like the NFL was smart to refuse him. Although it will be interesting twhen they hold the Super Bowl in NY/NJ in a coupl eyears.

Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.

It sure is not necessarily going to warmer there. The whole Eastern seaboard has been in the deep freeze all winter with temperatures as cold or colder than here in Colorado.

It was close to 60 degrees last week and later this week it is supposed to be in the 40's.

I think the weather is too unpredictable in Colorado at this time of the year to host the Superbowl. But that's my opinion.

Who knows, maybe people will enjoy it!

Football should be played in the elements....although the majority of the attendees are wealthy spoiled people, so they wouldn't want to sit in the stands in cold weather.

Plus, it is supposed to be 32 on sunday! Great day for football!

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
