I think they will have a better year in 2011 and should make the playoffs but the Giants will be tough to compete against.

Can't wait, Nuggets and Avs are over. This may be the best Rockies year since the WS. Michael Young would have filled a missing piece, catcher is the other weak spot. I'll be there on opening day.

I heard they are blaming the hitting problems on baylor's coaching and they all are trying to fix that. Because our hitting last year was really a problem. I have always hated Baylor. I think he is lazy.

I was all optomistic until the Denver Post beat writer ruined that on Sunday. Troy Renck believes other teams will just pitch around Cargo & Tulo and that Ubaldo will go back to being a normal pitcher.
Have to hope the new pitching coach can give Smith, Ianetta, and the rest of the infield better hitting numbers.

Vegas believes the Rockies will win around 86 games and the Giants 89. Hopefully they are wrong.
