Jerry Sloan has retired. One of the last of the old guard who believed in hard work and team work. I had the pleasure of meeting him several times and watched him play in College. To late in the evening to write all the good things that should be said about the man.
A little Jerry Sloan history. He played for Evansville College which is now the University Of Evansville. They won the NCAA College title his junior and senior years. They were 29-0 his senior year. He was the meanest, most intense player I ever saw play the game.
