Pitssburg was inconsistent all year long. Many questioned their ranking.

Thanks to Jeff Sagarin, the Big East got 11 teams in the NCAA, Guess how many are left. LOL

My reading tells me 4. So they are betting less than .500. Which conference is excelling so far?

Thats the problem . 11 from one conference. A limit of 8 would be good. LOL, Just my opinion. The Big East made their rep by beating each other and some early home wins. Leagues should play their conference early and play non-conference late in the year. Then we would have an equal playing field

Nice idea, but not reality. Many schedule early soft opponents to help them get into the season. Playing non-conference opponents late obviously would mean a need for tough match ups. Poor teams hidden by win-loss numbers would be exposed for what they are.
Today I think the Big ten will get cut down too. There will be some tough match ups.

Ohio State and Wisconsin are holding strong. The Catholic teams which are may favorites are mostly back in school right now.

Looks like the Vegas line opened at 4. Down to 3.5 now. Butler likes being the underdog.
:nocommment:
