SC you were asking about solar companies in Denver awhile back. Here is an article you may like.
"The Dow Chemical Company ( DOW ) announced that its POWERHOUSE Solar Shingles will be available to homeowners in New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Louisiana and Michigan. The POWERHOUSE solar shingles were available in Colorado, Northern California and Central Texas since early 2012."
I chatted with a friend of mine yesterday who installs solar panels. He said that solar shingles are worse than panels because efficiency goes down as the panels heat up, and the heat retained by the solar shingles, which sit "in" the roof get the hottest. The best panels are the ones that are installed on the ground and get air flow around them, without having the heat bouncing off of the dark roof around them.
Solar shingles look cooler though!
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
