Q & A ON ANTIBODY TESTS.....not as straight forward as it seems.....Molecular testing of RNA is better? SC...did I understand that correctly?

Yes, so far the serological tests are not as reliable (as I mentioned here) as the PCR tests.

The PCR tests are very accurate so long as you get a good sample to begin with. If the swab up the nose doesn't grab enough viral particles from which to isolate RNA, it can lead to a false negative. The PCR test also confirms if you have an active infection, unlike the antibody assays.

AFTER ONE MONTH.....the test results of San Miguel County are in.....(that is WITH a close collaboration partner in the business ).......mixed results, U decide......

Very disappointing about the uncertainty about the antibody tests. I was really hoping I could be sure we have already had the Covid.
