The Conifer Chamber is 250 members strong, and greatly interested in supporting the mountain community by supporting businesses as well as coordinating community events.
One of the greatest benefits of being a member of the Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce is the opportunity to network with other businesses in the area, and to share your business with leaders who will promote your business by word of mouth.

Free Annual Directory Listing: Each year the Chamber publishes a professional magazine and directory. Each member is listed under one category, and has a chance to advertise at a discounted rate. The deadline for the 2011-2012 Annual Directory, which goes to all mail boxes in the area as well as businesses and chamber members, is Friday, May 13th.
Referrals: The Chamber is proud to refer its members by phone, email, website, and through the directory. We received over 1,000 email requests from our website in the past 8 months. The Chamber is a Central Information Source and Community Resource.
Business Listing on the Chamber of Commerce Website: Your business information will be listed on [url=http://www.goconifer.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;]http://www.goconifer.com[/url]. You have the capability to update your contact information 24/7 with your own user name and log in.
Monthly Meetings: Our monthly informational meetings are one of the best ways to meet other business owners. In addition, our guest speakers provide tools to help you grow your business. We are averaging well over 60 attendees per meeting. (These meetings are held at Brooks Place Tavern (at 27175 Main Street, Conifer, CO, by Sonic at the new Safeway Center) the second Friday of each month from 7:15a – 9a.) Non-members pay $10 and members pay $8 with an RSVP. You will also receive a brief “commercial” if you donate a door prize.
Member Profile: As a new member you will have the opportunity to give a four minute presentation regarding your business at one of our monthly meetings.
Article in the Newsletter: As a new member an article about you and your business, as well as a photo, will appear in the monthly newsletter. The distribution list is 450 people and growing.

Ten percent discount on advertising in Score Foothills for new and existing members (some restrictions apply)
Ribbon Cutting: Every member has an opportunity to have a ribbon cutting. A photo and information about your business will be published in the Mountain Connection and The Flume.
Bulk mail stamp: Available to all members without charge, this offers significant savings – often more that the cost of your annual membership dues.
Access to the Chamber member mailing list: As a member you can receive an electronic copy of our mailing list free of charge; the cost to non-members is $300.
Ability to Display brochures or pamphlets about your business in the Chamber office.
Networking Group CURB (Chamber Using Referral Business)
CURB is a networking group that meets every Thursday at 7:30 a.m. at the Deli at Evergreen South at the Marshdale round-a-bout. This group is available to members only, and costs $40/year.
Echo Pages: You will receive a free listing identifying you as a Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce member if you list your business in the Echo Pages.
Web Calendar Listings: Chamber and community events are accessed by Chamber members and people in the surrounding mountain areas at [url=http://www.goconifer.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;]http://www.goconifer.com[/url]. You may upload your community events and meetings with your log in and password.
Monthly Newsletter: The newsletter is emailed to members and people in the surrounding mountain area and is posted on the website. Presently the distribution list is 450 and growing.
Notification of Upcoming Meetings and Community Events: Email notifications of events are sent weekly to members and people in the surrounding mountain area. Presently the distribution list is 450 and growing.
Sponsorship Opportunities: The Chamber organizes several community events throughout the year including the Spring Fling Family Social, Wine Tasting and Silent Auction, Conifer Mountain Faire, OctoBEERfest, Holiday Party (at which Business and Non-profit of the Year are awarded, as well as other awards), Conifer Christmas Parade, and FeBREWary. This is an excellent way to let potential customers know that your business exists in the area!
Business After Hours: These Mixers occur approximately monthly and are sponsored by different local business. If you host a Mixer, business owners gather “after hours” at your business location to share snacks, drinks, and good conversation. This has been a successful way to let people know where members are located and what services they offer.

Community Involvement: The Chamber is a great way to get your staff involved in the community. You can volunteer as a group at our special events, or you can volunteer individually on one of our 15 committees.

· Business Directory Listing - your business information is available to consumers through the chamber’s website. Visitors can search by category, keyword or alphabetically.
· Online Informational Brochure - your own page on the Chamber’s website can include your business description, hours of operation, location information, and up to eight keywords to help identify your business when a website visitor does a keyword search on the Business Directory. Add enhanced features for $20/month.
· Job Postings– add your own job openings to the Chamber’s website.
· Hot Deals – include store coupons and special offers on the Chamber’s website.
· Event Posting - add your business’ events to the Chamber’s Online Events Calendar. Chamber website visitors can then add your event to Outlook, e-mail the details to a friend, and request an automatically generated email reminder for your event.
· "Email to a friend" link - visitors to your Online Informational Brochure may select a link to email your business information to a friend.
