285 Tourism Committee Meeting March 18 at The Wild Game

Greetings to you all!
The snow seems to have arrived with authority, making our winter activities all the more fun! In case you missed it, the Conifer Chamber's 285 Winterfest was a hit and even got covered by 9NEWS! You can see the video and story on the 285 Winterfest & Conifer Chamber Facebook pages . Our thanks to everyone who made that event a success and helped show what fun can be had in our community!
For those who are itching for spring to arrive, the upcoming Platte Canyon Chamber of Commerce PCU class on greenhouse gardening is right up your alley! It's on March 18th, the same evening as our next committee meeting so you'll have to choose between good and great!
We had a very successful meeting last month, and we are excited to report that our new head of event planning, Ms. Luna of Luna's Mandala , has big plans for us! We are looking at attending the Taste of Colorado over Labor Day weekend in downtown Denver! This would be a huge opportunity for us to promote our area and all the things to do here, but it will take quite a bit of volunteer effort as well. Up to the task? We believe so! More details to come later, along with the other events at which we hope to participate.
Our 3rd edition of the Foothills Adventure Map is coming along nicely, we should be wrapping that up by mid-month and sending it off to the printers; many thanks to Dave Erramouspe of Starfish Ads for all his hard work on it. We'll post a sneak peek on our 285 Tourism Facebook page so be sure to
us if you haven't already!
Our next meeting will have us venturing into previously unexplored territory as we head over to Evergreen and check out the relatively new restaurant/fun center, The Wild Game , 1204 Bergen Pkwy. Colorado Serenity is holding their monthly Schmoozer there that night so we thought it would be fun to expand our horizons and hobnob with our fellow mountain Jeffco neighbors after we finish our business. Come join us from 5:30-6:30 as we plan, then stay for the networking party!
