The Sanctuary seeks to represent these under-represented truths:

God is One, and so his judgment is Love.
God is Love, and so desires to save.
God is Almighty, and so can save.
God is Jesus, and so does save.

“For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell. And through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.” (Col.1:19-20)

God is better than you thought.

The Love of Jesus is deeper than you know.

And the Spirit is everywhere working the wonders of Mercy.

A Church Within THE CHURCH, Containing Many Churches: The Sanctuary is a small part of the Church Universal, and within The Sanctuary there are many churches—a church is two or three gathered in His name.

We invite you to visit our worshiping congregation in Evergreen (5:30 p.m. Saturdays), as well as our church in Downtown Denver (10:00 a.m. Sundays).

The last weekend of the month is “Community Life Weekend” when we share a meal together after the service. Visit our website for more information about community groups, our youth ministry, and church happenings.

A Real Church in This unReal World: Jesus is the Truth. His Spirit is the “Spirit of Truth.” We cannot arrive at the Truth with out being Truth-full. We don’t want to “play church,” but be the real church. We’re like the stinky manger in which the Christ child is placed. When we’re honest about the mess, we can be honest about God’s Grace. We are the place in which the Christ is born. We are the sanctuary in which the Glory of God is destined to dwell. The Sanctuary must be a safe place to surrender our mess, but not a safe place to hide our mess; a safe place for truth, but not a safe place for lies; a safe place for honesty, but not for arrogance, self-centeredness and pride. God will not abandon us to our illusions, but will transform us into His Sanctuary.

Visit our 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning services at 2215 W. 30th in Denver. We are privileged and humbled that this magnificent cathedral is home to our downtown ministry. Youth ministry and nursery available.
