Spirituali-TEA

Spirituali-TEA is a discussion group for men and women that meets on the first Wednesday of the month for drinks and spiritual conversation. The discussion is based on topics that are stirring in our own hearts and minds. Everyone's wisdom and ideas are welcome - the more eclectic, the better!

Topical Discussion Night - next meeting is Wednesday, March 7, 6:30pm at at the top of the Barclay condo building at 16th & Larimer. Facilitated by Kathleen Kegel.

Jr. High Youth Group

New Name for Jr High Youth Group! Room 412Sundays, 10am (6th, 7th & 8th Graders)
The Youth Group is now called "Room 412! Why is that? In Timothy 4:12, a challenge was given. We are pushed to not fit into the stereotype placed on youth but instead be a beacon to the world in all we do. In room 412 we will pursue the same challenge given to Timothy, and instead of being looked down on and selling ourselves short, we will rise up to what God has for us and help each other along the way!

The Well

The Well is a group for women who are mom's of young children. We have a food & fellowship time & a variety of topics discussed that are pertinent for our marriages, families, kids, relationships & work. We meet each 1st & 3rd Friday in the Youth Room.
The next meetings are Feb. 17th and March 2nd.

Kidzone Updates and Requests

SOS! Some of our childcare workers are about to have babies!!! Soon we will have more holes in Kidzone! So we need people who love to be with kids to join us. I want you to know that we are doing wonderful things in our classes (as we have been the last couple of years), and learning many great things! So let me tell you our needs for helpers and see if any of these speak to you. We have need of 8 assistants in our baby/toddler/preschool and kinder area. Right now we have teachers set up in these rooms, so we are looking for assistants. That means that you can come and hold babies, change diapers, sing songs, color, love kids and have fun one time a month! We also have need of 3 people who can work in our 1st through 5th grade with our 5th grade grapple groups. This is a wonderful position, taking the lessons deeper with our 5th graders. So you would come once a month and lead a discussion about the story that we are studying. These kids are just an awesome and growing group! We are also putting together a 5th Sunday team and need 12 people on that team!!! And a 12 person substitute list as well. We will be setting volunteer terms in August. So that in August 2013 the first term will be done and you can serve elsewhere at the Sanctuary or serve another year in Kidzone.

Creative Dance for Kids – Hip Hop Class
Tuesdays, 4- 5PM, March 6-April 10 (excluding March 27), in the Fellowship Gallery
Kids 4 – 8 yrs. old
Cost $50 for all five classes. Due by Sun. Mar. 4th.
Kids will perform at the April 13th Talent Show.
