C'mon Over to Camp! Camp is coming to YOU on Monday, July 27th through Thursday, July 30th from 9am-2pm. Please note – our day camp runs Monday through Thursday – no camp on Friday.

Lutheran Church of the Cross is pleased to provide an exciting Day Camp program within our community. Experience the fun and fellowship that Summer Camp can provide – right in your own back yard!

This summer our theme will be "The Great Treasure Hunt" – Join Pirate Pete, Truly Bell, and Teacher Mary to hear about the real meaning of treasure - the love of God! Sing & Dance with Youth Encounter

What Happens At Day Camp? Day Camp activities include Bible Study, worship, arts and crafts, singing, and fellowship. Campers will participate in games for fun and recreation where everybody plays and learns, and will make new friends along the way!

Where and When Will It Happen? Day Camp will be held at Lutheran Church of the Cross, on Meadow Drive, right next to Hiwan Homestead. Day Camp will run from 9:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Thursday. *Preschoolers conclude at 11:30am each day. ("Pre-K" is also considered Preschool and is half-day).

Kindergarten—8th grade campers will need a sack lunch from home during Day Camp.

Who Will Lead It? Dedicated volunteers from Church of the Cross will lead the program. Our leaders are trained and equipped in Bible study, worship, recreation, and working with people both young and old.

Who Can Come? Any youth ages 3/preschool to 8th grade can sign up. (Grades refer to grade entering in the fall.) You do not have to be a member of a congregation to attend. 2015 Day Camp Registration Health Form Just for Middle Schoolers… Is Summer a bummer? Not here!

Sign up for Day Camp – enter your grade – and if you are a Middle Schooler (entering grades 6-8th) we have some summertime adventures prepared for you! Hiking, music, and a few other surprises wait for you at Day Camp.

Bring your pals & get ready to start learning how God can work through an ordinary person to do great things!

(Some adventures may be offsite – additional permission slips will be used.)

How Do We Sign-up?

1. Download our 2015 Day Camp Registration Health Form or pick a form up from our church office. One form is required for each camper.

2. Please return your completed form to our church office. (Physical & Mailing addresses, below.) Space is Limited – Please return forms quickly.

A suggested donation of $40 per child ($25 for preschool) is requested. Any donation is acceptable – the best gift is your presence!
