How would you like to be a part of a COFA-Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America missions trip this fall? You'll be helping the Ojibwe (also known as Chippewa or Chippeway) Native American children and their families as well as other children in the Bemidji area at this year's Fall Outing and our Free Kids Turkey Shoot! This is an outreach that we can use your help with as we present the gospel to the children and their parents, family, and friends who attend this one-day event.

Last year COFA held its first annual Free Kids Turkey Shoot while having our Fall Outing in Bemidji Minnesota, located at Camp Oak Hills. There were over a hundred children and also their parents in attendance. We had a number of Native American children from the Ojibwa tribes involved along with the kids in the Bemidji area participate to win a free turkey in various age groups. The kids had a great time experiencing this outdoor event. We'll be doing the same thing THIS year again on Saturday, Sept. 16th and hope to double in size. It’s amazing to see how much fun these kids had while shooting turkey silhouettes onto paper targets.

There are 3 Ojibwe Indian Reservations within an hour of the Bemidji area where many Ojibwe families can use our help. So this trip we are taking coats, hats, mittens, and gloves to the families of the White Earth Reservation. Temperatures on the reservations have reached as low as minus 40 degrees below zero! If you want to send your unused coats, send them to (Camp Oak Hills, 1696 South Camp Rd SW, Bemidji, MN 56601) C/O COFA Coat Drive.

If you would like to donate to this event you can go to cofausa.org/donate/ to help provide meals for the children and their families who attend this event. Any amount is greatly appreciated.

The Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America is a 501c3 non- profit organization, so any donations are completely tax deductible. COFA's website is cofausa.org Call Mike at 303.880.9878 for additional information.

Thank You for all your help!
