On Saturday, August 11th at 9:00 to 11:00 AM, COFA will have a basic map and compass class. The address is 8660 S. Fairall Road, Morrison 80465 (actually in Conifer). The class will go over how to read a Topographic map, how to use a compass, and using the map and compass together. This class is designed to give you the basics of finding your location on the map and how to get from point A to point B thereby reducing the chances of getting lost in the field. This is must have knowledge for people who enjoy and venture out into the field. If you like hiking, hunting, riding your ATV, this is a great class to attend. If you have a compass please bring it.
