COFA NRA Western Big Game Hunter Clinic, August 7 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm $5.00

COFA will be hosting its NRA Western Big Game Hunter clinic on Saturday, August 7th at the Green Barn from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The address is 8660 South Fairall Road, Morrison CO 80465.

In this clinic, you will learn to improve your western big game hunting skills from many of those who attend this seminar, you will learn knowledge of the game you’re hunting, and the safe, ethical, way of being a responsible hunter.

You’ll learn the techniques on how to hunt elk and mule deer in this clinic. COFA’s experienced staff will teach you how to use, scents, call’s, blinds, decoys, and how to read maps for locating elk and deer. You’ll discover what gear you should carry in your hunt pack. Discover thoughts on what are the best calibers for elk and deer.

Learn what kind of survival gear should be carried when you’re out in the field hunting in mountains, forests, or on the plains. Many people die needlessly in the outdoors because they were not equipped with the right gear.

This will be a hands-on class, you will learn how to use different cow calls, how to bugle, apply scents to game trails, learn how to use fluorescent tacks to locate your stand in the dark. One of the fun things about this class is the round table, sit and ask questions about elk and deer hunting from successful hunters.
