Kid’s Outdoor Survival Class
Outdoor Survival Class focused on teaching kid’s tips and tricks for survival if lost in the outdoors.
Quick question: Would your child know what to do if they got lost in the wilderness? Would they have the right information to get help and stay safe? What survival gear would you get them or know what to get them if they were hiking or playing in the forest with their friends. I believe carrying the right gear and knowing how to use it, you'd be able to survive most outdoor emergencies. Many kids get lost and are unable to take care of themselves.
These are great questions that we will address and more in our training session focused on Survival for kids.
What your child should do if he/she gets lost. How to signal for help, how to create a shelter, how to stay safe from wild animals, learning how to navigate, how to keep dry when it rains, how to tie knots, many more kids’ tips!
We will go over Survival Items and learn how to use them. The more quality items you carry, the easier time you will have Surviving.
Would you know how to use them in a survival situation? Here are those items:
Proper clothing, means to light a fire, shelter, strobe light, survival knives, whistle, personal first aid kit, compass, hand warmers, headlamp, high energy food.
It is essential that every item you take into the wilderness is actually useful to your survival, kids need to know how to use them. Most people think of only taking a small wilderness survival kit when they should instead consider taking the proper wilderness survival gear.
Bring your questions, and if you have them, bring your backpack and survival gear to the class. This will be a hands-on class for kids. Your kids can talk with those who have field experience in survival and can recommend what proper gear you should carry on your outdoor trips.
This class is open to kids ages 7 to 17, seating is limited to 20 people to observe proper spacing. Register early so you don't miss this opportunity! Dress warm, you’ll be in the outdoors, learning new skills.
