COFA Free Kids Ham Shoot March 16th at Scheels

OK parents, here's another free fun event for your kids; imagine a ham shoot competition just for your kids. While your kids are in the competition, you can look over the new hunting gear, fishing gear, clothes, kids' apparel, dog training gear, guns, and ammo, and so much more!

SCHEELS values the opportunity to connect youth with outdoor recreation activities and is excited to partner with COFA to host this Ham Shoot.

COFA believes in passing our values, skills, and outdoor pastimes to the next generations. A Ham Shoot (targets only, no live animals involved) is a great way to do all three at the same time.
Kids ages 8-15 will have an opportunity to use a B.B. gun on paper targets to win great prizes, including a Honey Baked ham (must be present to win). The award ceremony will be presented at 2:00 PM. Other activities include archery, outdoor education experiences, scavenger hunts, and more!!

I know it's a drive for us front-range folks, but Scheels is worth the trip. Kids will have a lot of fun trying to win a ham at the shooting competition; there is a Ferris wheel, an amazing aquarium, and some pretty nice outdoor gear to look at. This is a great family, fun-filled day. COFA-Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America loves putting on kids' events, Scheels is a big part of what we do, to get kids involved in the outdoors and away from their electronics.
