Do you enjoy ice fishing? Maybe you've never had a chance to go. Now, here's your opportunity!

It's time to dress in warm layers and get out on the ice! That's right, COFA is going Ice Fishing!

Join us on Saturday, Feb 24th, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Evergreen Lake! Your host will be Mike Thuecks. He will have two tents with heaters in them, to warm those tootsies up, and also some ice rods and tackle.

This is a free event, but you must pre-register by clicking REGISTER NOW to sign up. Participants will be given a waiver to sign at the event. You must also bring your Colorado State Fishing License (a fishing license can be obtained at any CPW office, Colorado state park office, Walmart, Ace Hardware, sporting goods store or tackle shop). Sign up quickly; space is limited! If you have your own ice fishing short pole, please indicate that when you register and bring it with you.

Please note that this is not a tournament, and no food is provided. We will have a great time fishing! Maybe you're a seasoned ice fisherman/woman, or maybe this will be your first time to ice fish, and you want to learn! Bring your friends and family! It will be a great time!

Call Mike Thuecks at 720-331-7541 when you get to the lake (just off Hwy 74 in downtown Evergreen). Remember, there is no cold weather, just inappropriate clothing! I look forward to seeing you there!

Those aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or relative over 21.

Feel free to contact us if you have questions or need assistance registering for the event. For questions specific to the ice fishing event, please contact Mike Thuecks at 720-331-7541.
