You're invited to join COFA-Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America on Sunday, May 18, for a family-friendly Church ATV ride on Lost Park Rd near Jefferson, CO! This is open to anyone who wants to ride with like-minded people. COFA will provide lunch (hot dogs, chips, water), but you must register so we know how much food to bring. Many church folk like to get together and meet other outdoor enthusiasts. Let's ride and break bread on an ATV trail. You don't have to attend a church to enjoy this ride; everyone is welcome.

Meet at Platte Canyon High School on Sunday, May 18th, at 1:15 PM. We'll be leaving at 1:30 PM Sharp! COFA will be kicking off its first of many ATV rides on May 18th. We will be riding on Lost Park Road, which has some great views and is an easy ride for beginners and families.

Take 285 to road 56, which is on the left-hand side of 285, just before the town of Jefferson. If you are coming from Denver, meet in the parking lot of Platte Canyon High School, 3 miles west of Bailey off of 285. The school is on the right side of 285. Bring your snacks, sunscreen, and a camera. Meet at Platte Canyon High School on Sunday, May 18th, at 1:30 PM Sharp!

Jeeps, UTVs (side-by-side), ATVs, and dirt bikes are welcome. CB radios will be used to maintain communication between the leading vehicle and the last vehicle. We will stop along the route to re-group, visit, and have fun.

As ATV enthusiasts, we select trails that are safe and will allow new beginners (riders) an experience to feel safe and enjoy their time in the outdoors. Our goal is to enjoy riding together and make new friends.

Before going on any ATV trip, make sure that your ATV is given a bumper-to-bumper walk-through. Make sure you have a full tank of gas and extra fuel. Is your oil at the proper level? Please bring your helmet! Do you have the proper weather gear (rain gear, sunscreen, etc.)?

If you have any questions about what to wear or bring, call Mike at 303.880.9878. The staging area for meeting up will be at Platte Canyon HS in the parking lot. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early before departure time. We leave on time; if you're running behind due to traffic conditions, call Mike at 303.880.9878 or Leslie at 303.909.3707 and let us know.
