COFA's Concealed Carry Permit Class (CCW) – Sat, Sept 26 – 7:45AM to 5:00PM

While our course emphasizes gun safety, we will provide a legal summary regarding carry laws, pistol terminology and function, carry methods, shooting basics, and range etiquette.

This is a basic pistol course that meets the standards required by HB24-1174 passed in Colorado to receive your concealed carry permit. Our Colorado Verified Instructors are highly experienced and knowledgeable. This course meets all the requirements needed to apply for your concealed carry permit through your county sheriff’s office.

The course encompasses 8 hours which includes in-person training, a written exam, and live-fire qualification that meets the requirements of the new 2025 laws.

This class, on Saturday, September 26th, from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM, will be held at the Skyline Hunting & Fishing Club in Littleton. Directions will be provided upon registration. The range for the live-fire qualification, from approx. 3-5 pm, will be at the same location, a short distance from the classroom.

For the classroom portion, please bring a valid Colorado state ID card or driver’s license. Personal firearms and live ammunition are not permitted in the classroom.

For the live-fire portion of the training, students need to bring their own firearm that they intend to conceal carry and at least 50 rounds of ammunition. Your firearm and ammunition will be inspected at the range. If you do not own a firearm, please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements for a rental – as rental availability is limited. For rentals, you will need to purchase ammunition at the range before live-fire qualification.
