Brooks Place Tavern - What To Know!

We hope that you’ll agree that we have all the right ingredients for owning and running a restaurant – a combined 20 years of experience in restaurants; combined with many years in running successful sales and operations businesses; and a long-time love of food. We aren’t the chefs at Brooks Place, but our kids, Kimber and Cooper, would probably tell you that we serve up some terrific meals at home, and like you, the entire Brooks family holds pretty high standards when we venture out for a meal.

We like everything about food and restaurants, and we both have spent years thinking about what kind of restaurant we’d open if we ever had the chance. We talked about a restaurant here in Morrison almost from the day we arrived. Finally, we decided to stop talking about it and take action – so we rolled up our sleeves and got to work on the real thing.

Maybe it sounds a little corny, but Brooks Place is our dream come true. And our ultimate dream is for Brooks Place to truly be YOUR place.

Throughout all the dreaming and planning for Brooks Place Tavern, we agreed that we wouldn’t compromise on a few key principles we know are important for a positive dining experience: terrific food prepared with fresh ingredients, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with the best service you’ll find anywhere -- all designed to keep you coming back for years to come. You can count on your food being prepared with one thought in mind: that you matter most! And, with eight big screen televisions, you’ll never miss the big game!

Brooks Place is your neighborhood place, owned and operated by Steve and Janice, your neighbors from Morrison. We strive to buy locally and created a menu based on what we know you want. In our open kitchen, you’ll see that Chef Joe Ritter is as personable as he is talented, preparing mouth-watering burgers and a southwestern style prime rib sandwich with green chilies & cheese to keep you coming back for more.

Come for the food, stay for the game AND for the beverage selection, including Colorado micro brews, DownSlope spirits, and Colorado coffee and tea in addition to our full-service bar.
