An update on BPT's recent closures due to covid

Hi everyone!

I am Nicole Garcia one of the owners of Brooks Place Tavern. In all transparency we had our first positive staff covid case Monday of last week & we closed down our entire restaurant immediately. The fact that we are severely short staffed didn't help. We did close for 4 days last week & used that time to figure out who was exposed & the next steps we should take. We did deep clean and sanitize the area & also required all staff get tested out of an abundance of caution. We did open back up on Friday last week, but you have to understand it was with about 1/2 of our staff. We worked open to close all weekend & our staff needed another break on Tuesday as the remaining staff still cannot return until late this week. I deeply apologize for not putting a sign up on Tuesday to notify guests that we were closed, I guess I lost my train of thought after the craziness of the prior week. The fact we had to close again was pretty surreal to all of us. Please know we are dedicated to you & we hope you continue to support us & our staff as we get back into the groove. Moving forward our hours will be back to normal!!
