TSAC packing party

Troop Support Action Committee (TSAC) was back in action on Saturday afternoon, June 2, 2012!

The storage locker (provided graciously by Bea and John Evcerest) at Pine Junction had been stuffed to the brim with donated items collected at King Soopers on May 19th.

Everything is the locker was moved to the Creative Coverings shop adjacent to the storage facility.
Many thanks to Pinecam "Topper" for the use of their shop space!
We were able to work indoors and out of the heavy thunderstorms that spent the afternoon drenching our thirsty mountains.

With eight Pinecammers sorting and packing, the mountain of donated goods became a mountain of packed boxes ready to ship to our "adopted" troop units in Afghanistan.


This mountain of boxes, over 60 in all, will be shipped to one Army unit and two Marine units over the next couple of months.

TSAC has sincere thanks to all of our mountain community for their generosity in donating all of these goodies and the money to cover postage expenses.

If you would like to contribute to our effort to bring smiles to troops in the "danger zone", you can easily drop items into the TSAC boxes located at King Soopers and Safeway.
We will pick them up and make them part of our next packing event.
Soon they will be off to the troops.
You can make a huge difference in the morale of our troops with your gifts.
