Volunteers needed for MRC Empty Bowls event

Mountain Resource Center is planning its Fourth Annual Empty Bowls event to reduce hunger in our mountain area community. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and 5 to 7 p.m. for dinner, Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Mountain Resource Center and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch, Thursday, Nov. 8 at the Evergreen Lake House.

Volunteers are needed the day before and the day of the two events. Volunteer opportunities include decorating, greeting, serving, busing tables and clean-up. Time commitment is three to four hours.
