Adaptive Sports Educating and Presenting

Pine residents Marc Romero and Ben Mortensen have teamed together to run an educational non-profit and give school presentations through it called Adaptation Education (Ad Ed), an educational non-profit program of United Charitable Programs.

Ad Ed is a projection, discussion and presentation to students featuring the world’s top adaptive sports stories and characters captured from an inside and grassroots perspective.  Projections and discussions with students are had on many different
top “disabled to adaptive” topics, trends, technologies, characters, stories and evolutions being seen today – both within the heartfelt video stories which they produce/project and elsewhere in the world overall. The adaptive sports inspiration, enlightenment, innovation, inclusiveness, persistence and "can-do" messages contained in the projected stories and then in their interactive discussions with students are quite meaningful, powerful and invaluable.

Both lads are grassroots “disabled to adaptive” athletes themselves with Marc’s background being with the US Disabled Ski Team, writing, film-making and school presenting and Ben’s being with elite wheelchair basketball, teaching and coordinating fundraising events & concerts. They travel to schools to give live presentations throughout the state (and also country) with their mission and messages. Their local 285 supporters include Anytime Fitness, Conifer Rotary and local school’s PTAs who have supported and/or hosted their adaptive sports educational mission with our kids.

Please check out their ‘Ad Ed’ website (which includes a couple samples of their 25-30 world-class segments) and please consider possibly booking/hosting them for your school or group and/or contacting them.
