TSAC is pleased to announce the shipment of another 143 pounds (in 12 boxes) was sent off to troops in Afghanistan on Monday, March 18, 2013.
These snack and comfort items are headed to two units. Our "adopted" Marine Recon team is still seeing action in eastern Afghanistan. TSAC also shipped to a newly adopted Army unit at Kandahar Air Base.
We want to extend our sincere thanks both to our generous community for their donations and to our Troops in "harm's way" who are serving willingly for us in a place of great danger.
Here is a photo of BeerGodROX and RailBuff getting ready to load boxes into the Bailey Post Office.
Please be reminded that TSAC still maintains donation boxes at the entrances to King Soopers in Aspen Park and Safeway in Conifer.
If you have questions about which items are most useful and desired "over there" please try this link to give you a few ideas:

TSAC intends to maintain a flow of items to American troops in action "Until they all come home!"
As the "draw down" continues, it becomes harder to find new units deploying.
If you have contacts with family members and friends who are headed there, please try to contact TSAC by PM or email so we can give you what we need to make our lines of communication work.
