Troop Support Action Committee (TSAC) needs to express profound THANKS to our generous mountain community for making it possible to send off 12 more APO Flat Rate boxes to Troops in Afghanistan!
Today's shipment totaled up to 143 pounds of comfort items and smacks!
Our currently supported unit is a Chinook helicopter Company with about 120 Troops.
They operate out of a very remote forward base and fly only at night!
When they get back from missions they must drive almost an hour to get to a chow hall!
What little TSAC can send makes a HUGE difference for the morale of these troops.
At our "collection" in front of King Soopers on August 24, an Army combat veteran back from Afghanistan (only three days) stopped by to express how much shipments from groups like TSAC pumped up morale!
We had to choke back tears and thank him for his service.
TSAC has collection boxes in front of King Soopers and at the north door of Safeway available 24/7 for you to drop off donations headed to Afghanistan.
Thank You again for your expressions of support with your donations of goods and cash to keep TSAC going "Until they all come home!"
