PeaceWorks, Inc. has two domestic violence survivors who need working cars. We thought those of you in the automotive business might be able to help. One woman has a home to move to out of state and the other has a job and housing in this area in about 2 weeks but doesn't have a working car to get from her new place to work. Both of these women have been impoverished by their domestic violence situations and have worked VERY hard to overcome multiple barriers to become self-sufficient. We know that there are many people out there who might have or know someone who can donate a working car that would bless these women's lives. PeaceWorks could accept the cars on behalf of the women, making it a tax-deductible donation.
