You can make a difference for victims of domestic violence.
Volunteers must participate in a 20 hour Training which will be held at the PeaceWorks Offices:
July 8 6m - 9pm
July 9 10am - 5pm
July 16 10am - 5pm
Training topics will include:
Overview of PeaceWorks: history and current programs
Helping people in crisis
Understanding the domestic violence cycle and barriers to leaving
Overview of protective orders and sexual assault
And more . . .
Volunteers are asked to cover an 8 hr shift once a week from home.
