Please consider helping the Colorado Parks Foundation while obtaining a great looking designer license plate! Even if you've already renewed this year, or aren't due to renew in the next month, you can go ahead and obtain this beautiful plate - the CPF must have 300 additional plates purchased by the end of June or they risk losing this fundraising program which Friends of Staunton State Park has benefited from in the form of grants awarded. No worries - your DMV renewal will be prorated accordingly!
Make a one-time, tax deductible online donation of $44 (or print the form and mail it in) to the Colorado Parks Foundation - you'll receive a certificate in the mail that you take to the DMV to get your license plate. Details at www.coloradoparksfoundation.org/license-plate.html
The Colorado Parks Foundation, Inc. (CPF) is an independent, nonprofit membership organization. Founded in 1985, the CPF raises funds that are placed in an endowment to carry out its mission:
-Enhance Parks across the State of Colorado through grants that are awarded each year in May and November
-Advocate for the ongoing enhancement and improvement of Parks throughout the State of Colorado
-Promote the enjoyment and usage of Parks throughout the State of Colorado, allowing for enjoyable and beneficial outdoor experiences for the citizens and visitors of Colorado
The CPF is continually seeking support from interested Colorado citizens like you who are concerned with the quality of life in Colorado; believe in the preservation of our open space and natural resources and want to maximize the availability of recreational opportunities for ourselves and future generations. You can feel good knowing that 100% of your donation will be placed into a dedicated endowment fund with the Colorado Parks Foundation. All of the endowment fund’s interest earned will be used for the benefit of Colorado State Parks.
