Help Brighten a Child's Holiday Season Through Jefferson County's Giving Tree Program!

The Jefferson County Commissioners are excited to continue the annual Giving Tree program in 2020. Traditionally, gift tags for nearly 300 local children have been placed on a tree in the Administration and Courts Facility. Due to COVID-19, the program is going virtual so that citizens can still fulfill the wishes of Jefferson County children during the holiday season. Gift tags are available on the Giving Tree website: bit.ly/Jeffco-Giving-Tree.

In addition to going virtual, this year’s program will have another twist - in lieu of unwrapped presents only gift cards will be accepted. Gift cards can be purchased from the store(s) of your choice, in whatever dollar amount you choose. Cards need to be returned no later than Dec. 3 at 5:00 p.m., at the holiday-themed drop box located on the first floor of the Jefferson County Administration and Courts Facility, 100 Jefferson County Parkway, Golden.

Please help one of Jefferson County’s less fortunate children this year and visit the Giving Tree website beginning Nov. 16 to make a child’s wish come true this holiday season.
