Since 1945, Bootstraps has been helping local students achieve their educational dreams through scholarships and interest-free loans. The funding is provided by our generous community, businesses and individuals who believe in our local students. We award funding based on merit, community engagement, and financial need for college, technical and vocational programs, and other certification programs.
For over 40 years, Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice has provided in-home care for those needing end-of-life hospice care, recovering from an illness or surgery as well as palliative care for those living with a chronic or progressive illness. We provide nursing services, physical, occupational and speech therapies, social and spiritual support, and grief counseling for children and adults, as well as care for those making their final journey. Last year, Mount Evans conducted over 25,000 patient visits across a four-county service area—Clear Creek, Gilpin, Jefferson, and Park counties. Our clinical care team drove over 325,000 miles to take care of all of us, our friends and neighbors, in our homes, when needed.
