Colorado has always given so much to us. Now it’s our turn to give back. After seeing how devastating this wildfire season has been, we wanted to help. Thanks to the incredible work of Alyssa Rose, an idea became a real community fundraiser. Join us at True Blue Tattoo for our Colorado Wildfire Relief Fundraiser. Saturday, August 15th, noon until7, walk-ins only, first come, first served. $40 flash tattoos, larger tattoo options, and monetary donations welcome.

Woman teams up with Lakewood tattoo shop to raise money for fire departments battling wildfires

Alyssa Rose grew up on a ranch in Conifer and has been evacuated or put on notice at least 10 times due to wildfires. She said the repeated threat has left her feeling "hyperfixated" on what she can do to help those battling the fires. "I am a teacher here in Colorado, and I don't really have a way to change the entire world or change even maybe outside of Colorado, but my hope is to get people to come in and support this event," Rose said.
