Heard It Through The Grapevine, August 2018

Dear Friends of Aspen Peak Cellars,

Time is flying when you are having fun! There is no shortage of activities at our winery in Bailey this Summer. Whether you enjoy a glass of vino in the riverside lounge, a game of bocce or a lunch on our spectacular patio overlooking the North Fork or the South Platte River, listen to our amazing local musicians during Rockin' Rapids on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, we will promise you a relaxing experience at our establishment. Cellar news include the release of the new 285 Fusion, our signature blend of Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Zinfandel, guaranteed to please those who like a jammy, oaky, spicy blend with rounded tannins. It is a great pairing with anything of the grill and bbq's.

The vineyards in Palisade are experiencing extreme heat lately and we anticipate an early harvest this growing season. We will keep you posted on the progress, but are very excited to process our first crush at the new winery, as our crusher/destemmer and press are expected to arrive pretty soon. If you are in need for a venue to host a special event, look no further. We have a few options on how to accomodate your group. Perhaps you like to reserve the barrel room (up to 36 people) during business hours at no extra charge or rent the entire winery after hours (up to 80 people), we will work with you to create your perfect event.

See details and our banquet menu here, and inquire to book your date soon.

As mentioned in our last newsletter, there is a special connection for our winery family, as we are celebrating a shared birthday on August 1st between Switzerland 1291 and Colorado 1876. Join us for an evening of fun, friendship and a melting pot of foods from both of those amazing tourism destinations. Everyone is encouraged to wear the colors from either of those special places. We love them both!
