November News and Events from Aspen Peak Cellars

04 Nov 2020 15:41 #1 by Cellar Master
Dear Winery Friends,
As we are transitioning in to Winter mode, a few changes to our limited seating indoors have been implemented with the current Covid-19 restrictions in place. #BaileyBeach will be closed for the season and riverside tables will only be open for take-out with counter pickup, should you decide to enjoy a fully outdoors meal while visiting our winery. However, we are glad to let you know, several socially distanced dine-in lunch options, as well as Rockin' Rapids live music series every weekend and occasional dinner theme nights continue to be offered during the cold weather season. Bands will play in the main dining room, while sliding doors to the tented, heated deck will be slightly open. On the weekends, we will offer our barrel room with a few tables for a more secluded dining option.

Around this time of the year we usually launch our ever popular Snowshoe & Fondue ticket sales. We are excited to continue this tradition and are looking forward to welcome you once again to our 10th annual ultimate Colorado experience, with a few changes in place. (see below for details)

In the cellar, many of our 2019 wines are coming out of the barrels to make room for this year's vintage. We will blend and bottle some amazing Vintner's Reserve wines like Rockin' Rapids, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Petit Verdot, all from Colorado grapes. Later in the year, we will be able to bottle the Viognier, Riesling and Dry Rose from the 2020 Palisade grapes. On November 8th, we will celebrate the release of our next sparkling wine, the 2019, Colorado, Blanc de Blancs, Brut, to pair with a couple of brunch items.

As far as other events coming up, a Spanish Tapas & Guitar night is on spigot for Friday, 11/20, and our next Wine Club Dinners are scheduled for the first weekend in December. Please make your reservations soon, to get your preferred seating. Our upcoming Rhone River Cruise in June 2021 is going to be a fantastic trip and we are looking forward to have many of our winery friends join us. Being about 6-7 months out, it is a good time to make your travel arrangements. See this for more information.

We are looking forward to seeing you all at the winery soon. Have a wonderful month and stay healthy!

Marcel, Julie and Team APC

Way to go Park County residents, you are amazing! In this past week we have seen a reduction from 42 to 23 active Covid cases per county website, to put this in perspective, 1 per 96 square miles. This allows us doing business in yellow (hopefully back to blue soon) on the state status dial and continue dining in for up to 50 people indoors, spread out over the 3 dining areas. We appreciate everyone following the rules to keep our staff employed and our micro-market in tact.

Don't forget, our take-out menu is also available by ordering online at
