I am in process of cleaning some stuff in my office out and have a couple of older printers that I need to get rid of - I don't want to have to dump them if I can help it. I used to take them to the Jared Polis Foundation place but that's way over at I70 and Peoria area, but they at least would take them for parts and such and the build new ones to donate. I'd like to find someplace closer to 'up the hill', and am in Littleton and Lakewood regularly too.
Staples in Conifer just confirmed that they do take old printers (and any ink to go with them) and recycle them. You can drop them off anytime they're open!
Thanks for the information, I have a couple of older HP printers that still work but need to be retired.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
The best place I know of is Goodwill. They recycle them and sell them for really low prices for those people that need them. You can also write it off of your income tax because they are not for profit.
