THIS MESSAGE IS FOR KINGS VALLEY AND CONIFER MOUNTAIN RESIDENTS:
Four neighborhoods (Elk Falls Ranch, Woodside, Mt. View Lakes & Douglass Ranch) and Staunton State Park recently received a grant from the State that will allow us to bring high-speed, fiber-optic internet to our communities. Construction starts this spring. (Burland and Silverheels neighborhoods received similar grants.)
Our internet service provider and grant partner is South Park Telephone/Highline. The next logical step for them is to take fiber up 285 to Kings Valley/Conifer Mountain.
There seems to be good interest from the KV/CM community in better internet.
A community Zoom meeting has been organized for February 2nd at 6:30pm to discuss the grant process, explain the project and answer questions.
