BBQ Veggie & Cheese Kabobs

I'm always looking for something new to cook up. I just bought some stainless steel skewers and want to try grilling veggies and cheese on the BBQ.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I've read that waxy cheeses rubbed with olive oil and coated with bread crumbs will grill up nicely. I know the veggies really only need to be seared a bit.

I'll either serve up some really good kabobs or have a big, gooey mess in my grill pan. I wanted to see if anyone could save me grom the gooey mess. :VeryScared:

Thank you, JMC. Do you know what kind of milk that's made with (Goat, Sheep, Cow)?

Salty would be fine with lightly grilled, unsalted veggies.

I think it's more of a whimper this morning. Everyone said the kabobs were very good but I wasn't pleased with them. I also ended up making some terriaki shrimp kabobs and I thought those were perfect. I even had one guest pluck one off of the kabob before I could even get it to the table. Everything except the veggie and cheese kabobs met my expectations so overall, I would call the party a success.

Thank you all for the tips and encouragement.
