Cook Eggs in Bell Peppers or Onion Rings for a Simple, Clever Breakfast Treat
By Melanie Pinola
Mar 9, 2012

Bell peppers and onion rings make ingenious ring molds for eggs in the skillet. Not only do they impart wonderful flavor to the egg and keep the egg contained, they also look so beautiful.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

the easiest way to preserve veggies

http://www.amazon.com/Wild-Fermentation ... rmentation

I've made Kimchi yesterday: chop up or grate carrots, daikon radish, garlic, ginger, onions, cabbage, jalapeno peppers, stuff and squeeze tightly into glass jar; cover with good salty brine ( real sea salt and filtered water, boiled) and put lid on tight. Leave on kitchen counter for a few days, then store in cool, dark space.

there is also a recipe to put some probiotic powder with the veggies to make it even healthier, not sure if the boiling water wouldn't kill the good bacteria though, have to experiment a little.

Important: rinse jars and lids with boiling water and after filling wipe off top with paper towel moistened with boiling water again.
I made this with just red cabbage and another few with white cabbage several months ago and just ate it - YUMMMM. Can be done with cucumbers, peppers, even tomatoes. Easy and quick and soooo delicious!
