The news reports that there have been many recalls mostly for bacteria.
Unless there is an organic on sale for very close (a few cents) to the regular product I don't buy it at the grocery store.
I love farmers markets, but will have to say (don't beat me up on this) the ones in our neck of the woods are over priced.
A few weekend ago I was in town and WOW way better prices and the selection of what was offered was much better.
I don't mind paying more if I do not have to drive to town but if a tomato is going to run me the same price as a T-bone organic or not I will take the T-bone.
