Onion dip is a classic for vegetables and plain potato chips, especially. It’s also amazing on pizza, tacos, and baked potatoes. The flavors of this dip mesh better the longer you leave it in the fridge. Overnight is ideal, but it’s okay if you just leave it in there for a few hours. This is even something you could whip up before you start your day and then come home to it a few hours later as a tasty, cool snack from the fridge.
You could take it one step further and add some fried onions to the mix as my dad, Rick, prefers a little crunch, either in the actual dip or served on the side. If you use this dip on baked potatoes, some fried onions would give the potatoes a nice aesthetic look. However you decide to use your onion dip is absolutely up to you. Even if that means spreading it generously over bagels and eating them in front of the t.v on a lazy Sunday morning.
