Homemade Breakfast Sausage
Breakfast sausage is so yummy with eggs, in an omelet or in a sausage gravy with biscuits. The thing is, it is very easy and fast to make and then you know whats in it and can ensure there are no fillers or things like MSG in your sausage. Once you try this you will find yourself making it all the time.
Ingredients
2 teaspoons The Bean & The Leaf Organic rubbed sage
2 teaspoons The Bean & The Leaf Himalayan salt
1 teaspoon The Bean & The Leaf Roasted Garlic pepper
1/4 teaspoon The Bean & The Leaf dried marjoram
1/4 teaspoon The Bean & The Leaf ground rosemary
1/4 teaspoon The Bean & The Leaf Organic ground thyme
1/8 teaspoon The Bean & The Leaf Organic crushed red
pepper flakes
1 pinch The Bean & The Leaf ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 pounds ground pork
Directions
In a small, bowl, combine the sage, salt, garlic pepper, marjoram, rosemary, thyme, brown sugar, crushed red pepper and nutmeg. Mix well.
Place the pork in a large bowl and add the mixed spices to it.
Mix well with your hands and form into patties and cook or you can cook crumbled to use in omelets and gravy.
