There are so many definitions for word Chile.......

Chile: the Country, a great place to visit but I would't want to live there

chili: A Stew, with or without beans made historically in many states. Hundreds of challenges are held each year to determine the best Chili in the country, also in this category,

Green Chili..made to smother burritos, enchiladas etc. etc.

chile's) or chilli: the fruit, any assortment of hot or mild red or green..It is legally a vegetable in the US, but botanically, it is a fruit.
